As you can well imagine, the decision to suspend our church services and ministry activities has been one of the most difficult of my ministry but one that has not been made without much prayer as I have sought the direction and guidance of the Lord.
Together, in faith we will face this threat that is at our door (2 Chr. 20:1-22). But let us remember, "the battle is not ours, it is the Lord's." So let us set ourselves, stand still that we might see that the salvation of the Lord is with us."
Though we may not be gathering in worship, let us find time to "Stand still before the Lord" and pray for one another, our families and that God will protect and watch over all who watch over and care for us... the first responders, health care providers, our national leadership, and etc.
As Paul spoke to Timothy: "God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind." (2 Tim. 1:7)
Therefore beloved, let's stand in Faith in the power of the Lord and with a Sound Mind, doing all that is asked of us to help stop the spread of the virus.... and let us "wait on Lord that we might see His salvation."
With Blessings and God's Grace to all... Pastor Ken
